Residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws can opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page explains the position at Wordplayroom and the routes available.

What We Do That Counts

• To be precise about what is and is not happening: Wordplayroom does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, where advertising is displayed on wordplayroom.com, advertising identifiers may be shared with ad partners, and state law may classify that as a ‘sale’ or as ‘sharing’. We therefore make the opt-out available rather than rely on a narrow reading.
