State Privacy Rights

This notice adds to our Privacy Policy for residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws — California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, and Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and other states with equivalent statutes. Where this notice and the main policy differ, this one governs for those readers.

Requests You Can Make

You can ask what we hold, have it corrected, have it deleted, get a copy in portable form, and opt out of any sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Several states additionally grant a right to appeal if we decline. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights — no price difference, no degraded access.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. However, where advertising is served, advertising identifiers and cookie data may be shared with advertising partners, and under the CCPA/CPRA and similar laws that sharing can itself qualify as a ‘sale’ or as ‘sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising’. You can opt out of it: see Do Not Sell or Share My Information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

The relevant categories are identifiers (IP, cookie identifiers, device identifiers), internet or network activity (page views, referrers and timestamps on wordplayroom.com), and contact information limited to any email address you chose to provide. Submitting a Request

Send requests to hello@wordplayroom.com. The Global Privacy Control browser signal is honoured automatically and is the simplest way to opt out. We verify identity by replying to the address that contacted us, respond within the time allowed by the applicable state law, and accept requests from an authorised agent with written proof of authority.
